Special Agent Tae Dempsey of the Federal Bureau of Investigation will discuss current cyber threats and trends, how malicious actors are targeting companies, and what companies can do to protect themselves. He will focus on a recent trend known as “ransomware,” why this has been keeping executives up at night, what you can do to protect yourself against it, and what to do once you’ve become a victim.
Prior to working at the FBI, he was a security and privacy services consultant for a Big Four firm and an information security professional and Vice President for a financial institution.
Parking is free. If you come off I-675 and Fairfield, stay on the upper parking lot to the right. The entrance to the far right of the Nutter Center. You are on the same level as the Berry Room.
